MIE 2008 congress brings together all stakeholders in the eHealth to exchange knowledge and insight in a lively, stimulating and creative environment, thus creating common ownership to the future of eHealth. First part of the MIE 2008 conference theme - eHealth beyond the horizon - points toward the expectations of the future of eHealth. Second part - Get IT there - suggests that creating, adjusting, delivering and deploying the necessary information technology as a basis for eHealth applications is essential in order to respond to the challenges in the years to come.
